Important information about your Orange card from marbles

Orange marbles

As of 27 November 2008, the Orange card from marbles will no longer be issued by HFC Bank.

What happens now?
If you have used your account within the 12 months to 1 November 2008 you will be provided with a new Beneficial Finance card (subject to the status of your account, and it being up-to-date and with no arrears).

When you receive your new Beneficial Finance card, you should cut up and carefully dispose of your Orange card from marbles.

You will not be able to view or service your account online from 27 November 2008.

If you haven’t used your Orange card from marbles within the past 12 months, please note that it will not be accepted from 27 November 2008.

The change in card design and name has no other implications for the operation of your account. Your account number will not alter and the terms and conditions of your account will remain unchanged. 

Any direct debits or recurring payments on your account will continue to be applied.

Frequently asked questions

1. Can I still use my Orange card from marbles?
No. After 27 November 2008 your Orange card from marbles will no longer be accepted.

2. When will I receive my replacement card and can I use it straight away?
You should receive your replacement Beneficial Finance card by 27 November 2008. Before you can use the card, you will need to activate it by calling the activation number affixed to it.

If you haven’t received your new Beneficial Finance card by 27 November 2008, please call 0870 010 1165.

3. Will I receive a new card if I haven’t used my card in the 12 months to 1 November 2008?
No.  If you haven’t used your card in the past 12 months and you don’t use it before 1 November you won’t be issued a new card. 

If you do wish to receive a Beneficial Finance card after this date you can request one from customer services on 0870 010 1165. This will be subject to a new credit check.

4. Will I receive a new Pin?
No. Your Pin won’t change.

5. Can I service my Beneficial Finance card online?
No. There will be no online account access. To make a payment please refer to the back of your statement; to check account details call 0870 010 1165.

6. Who should I call with queries relating to my Orange card from marbles, such as transactions on my card and Pin details?
Please call Beneficial Finance customer services on 0870 010 1165.
